How to Repay
HashWhale supports two repayment methods. You can choose the one that best fits your asset situation.
1. Go to the Repayment Page
Go to the [Lending] page
Click [Manage Borrowed Assets] → [View Borrowing Details]
Check your current borrowing records
Click [Repay] on the corresponding order
2. Choose a Repayment Method
1️⃣ Repay with the Borrowed Asset
Use the same asset as the borrowed currency to repay
No asset conversion is involved; simple and direct
Suitable for users who already hold the borrowed currency
2️⃣ Repay with Pledged Assets
Use other pledged assets to repay
The system will automatically convert pledged assets into the borrowed currency to complete repayment
No need to prepare the same borrowed currency, offering more flexibility
Note:
The system will use assets in the chosen order to complete repayment
Only the portion needed for repayment will be deducted; remaining assets stay in your account
3. Enter Repayment Amount and Confirm
Enter the repayment amount (≤ current outstanding borrowed amount)
Review repayment details
Confirm and submit
After repayment, your borrowed balance will update immediately.
Example (Repaying with Pledged Assets)
Suppose you borrowed 1,000 SOL and plan to repay 500 SOL, choosing:
ETH (≈ 400 SOL)
BTC (≈ 300 SOL)
The system will first use ETH to repay approximately 400 SOL. The remaining 100 SOL will be repaid using BTC. Any unused BTC will remain in your account.
Notes
Pledged assets below the minimum tradeable amount cannot be used for repayment
Pay attention to the loan-to-value (LTV) after repayment to ensure it stays within a safe range
Some pledged assets may not support repayment; follow the on-page display
